Family Films

Ted (Zac Efron) lives in a plastic, manufactured world in The Lorax, but Audrey (Taylor Swift), the girl next-door, dreams of a world with real trees... the kind that grow out of the ground. Ted's grandmother (Betty White) remembers real trees and sends him to find the one man who can help him: the Once-ler (Ed Helms). The Once-ler tells Ted the story from the classic Dr. Seuss book, how the Once-ler took the environment for granted, and the Lorax (Danny DeVito), the protector of the trees. Through bright, animated action and upbeat musical numbers, Ted has to correct the Once-ler's mistakes and bring back the trees. With Rob Riggle. On DVD and Blu Ray.

The Disney Channel original movie Let It Shine recasts Cyrano de Bergerac as 16-year-old Cyrus (Tyler James Williams), a humble boy with a hidden talent. When he writes a song about Roxanne, the beautiful singer he's infatuated with, Cyrus' song wins the local music competition... but Roxanne assumes someone else wrote the song. Cyrus' words are powerful, but will he be able to stand up, take credit, and deliver his rhymes himself?

Adapted Novels

Don (Marshall Allman) rebels against his Texan Baptist upbringing and enrolls in a Portland's Reed University in Blue Like Jazz, based on the New York Times bestseller. Fleeing from hypocrisies in his home and church, Don re-invents himself at school as a secular, intellectual skeptic. As he looks for meaning amongst demonstrations, class debates, and an environment that encourages exploration, he makes new friends (Tania Raymond) and pursues a girl (Claire Holt) who has more in common with former-Don than reinvented-Don. Over the course of his freshman year, Don has to resolve the divide between what he believes, who he is, his mistakes, and the people around him.

Robert Pattinson is Georges Duroy in the adaptation of the 19th century classic Bel Ami. Introduced into society by Charles (Philip Glenister), an old friend and journalist, Georges finds himself with a profession and a secret key to success: women. Though he's not a talented writer, Georges wins the favor of Charles' wife (Uma Thurman), who boosts his career and gives him influence. Georges uses his real talents to gain access to the ladies (including Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas) that can influence their powerful husbands, secure his future, and enable him to rise from roach-infested hovels to elegant mansions. With Colm Meaney.

Documentaries

Kevin Macdonald's documentary Marley incorporates interviews with friends, family, and archival footage of Bob Marley himself to craft a loving portrait of the singer and activist. Framing the life and career of Bob Marley around his passion for music and activist spirit that put him at odds with U.S. and U.K. interests, the film explores his life as a musician, public figure, and cultural icon.

Filming the life journey of a loggerhead turtle from Florida to Africa, Turtle: The Incredible Journey is a non-fiction adventure tale about a turtle's journey against near-impossible odds. Narrated by Miranda Richardson, the documentary follows the turtle as she survives predators and harsh conditions during her years-long travel over thousands of miles to her ancestral spawning ground.
